Call for Artists: Contest
For Southern CA artists

FPSSM is proud to announce our first ever art contest. The purpose of this contest is to engage the public, promote our beautiful park, and collaborate with Los Angeles artists to create a unique and creative new T-Shirt for our fabulous Park Volunteers!

Contest is open to any LA City/County resident artist age 18 or over. Submitted Artwork must be applicable to a 2 dimensional T-Shirt design, no sculptures or 3 dimensional works. Winning and Honorable Mention artists will receive prizes, awards and web publicity. Winning and Honorable Mention artists must meet contest criteria and be available to participate in person at a culminating awards/press event which will be held in Canoga Park, CA.

There is a  submission fee of $6 for one image, and $15 for 3. This fee will support the organization's wildland preservation efforts.

Each submitting artist will include with their submission a short statement (100-150 words) answering the question: “Why do you feel wildland parks are important to the City of Los Angeles?"
