Artist Call DetailDartmouth Poet in Residence at The Frost Place
For International artists
Every year, The Frost Place invites submissions from poets who are at an artistic and personal crossroads comparable to that faced by Robert Frost when he moved to Franconia in 1915, when he was not yet known to a broad public. The winner receives a six to eight week residency at Robert Frost's house in The White Mountains, $2000 in prizes from The Frost Place and Dartmouth College, and the opportunity to give a series of public readings across the region, including at Dartmouth College. Previous residents have included Katha Pollitt, Robert Hass, William Matthews, Cleopatra Mathis, Denis Johnson, Mark Halliday, Mary Ruefle, Mark Cox, and Laura Kasischke.
To be eligible, applicants must have published at least one full-length collection of poetry at the time of submission.
