Highway 2 - The Journey and the Destination
For Southern CA artists

Highway 2 - The Journey and the Destination is a multi-media, multi-artist show whose theme is a very specific California location - the portion of Highway 2 known as the Angeles Crest Highway, which stretches from La Canada Flintridge in Los Angeles County to the 15 freeway in San Bernadino County, winding through the Angeles National Forest.  We are seeking artists who have a relationship with that stretch of road and that forest; with its places, with its people, with its legendary lure.  All artistic mediums are welcome.  We are particularly interested in art relating to the highway from the motorcycle and automobile enthusiasts' community. The show will be held at the Old Town Newhall Public Library in Santa Clarita for four months, beginning in mid-October.  There will be several events relating to the show throughout that period.  Weather permitting, there will be a people's choice motorcycle show on opening night. Join our Facebook group to meet artists from previous shows, share your ideas and work:

This show is a production of the non profit association Redbird in cooperation and with the support of the City of Santa Clarita.
