The Public Art Program is seeking an artist to design and implement a mural on the walls of a new community pavilion at Bayer Neighborhood Park & Gardens in Santa Rosa, CA. This public art opportunity is open to practicing, professional artists residing in California.

Description of Project Opportunity: Bayer Park Mural
The Public Art Program is seeking an artist to design and implement a mural installation on the exterior walls of a community pavilion at a new park.
Bayer Neighborhood Park & Gardens, 1550 West Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA. Surfaces available for the installation include the east and west stucco walls, each approximately 9 feet by 16 feet. Other surfaces may be considered, pending approval. Design should make use of available wall space and offer creative solutions to deter graffiti and vandalism.
The maximum project budget is $12,000 and should be inclusive of all artist fees, and all expenses related to design development, materials, travel, installation of the artwork, insurance, and all other project related expenses. Finalists invited to submit specific proposals will receive an honorarium of $300 for the design of their proposed project.
