Art Installation Volunteer

San Francisco

Thank you for your interest in our next public art program! We are recruiting volunteers for artist Beili Liu's "Sky Bridge" installation. It will be the finale for the Central Subway project. Here is the link to sign up time slots:

And here are the guidelines (it can be also found in the link page above):

  • Installation date: 7/26 (Sunday) through 8/1 (Saturday), 7 days in total.
  • Volunteers can sign in one or both time slots for each day: a) morning, 9 am to 1:30 pm; b) afternoon, 1:30 pm to 6 pm. Each time slot needs 10 - 15 people.
  • The Artist's installer will lead and manage the installation. Simple demo will be given to volunteers. The task is simple: hot gluing Mylar to the bridge. No skill needed.
  • Volunteers can bring extra glue guns, industrial kind using thicker glue sticks are the best. They can also bring 3 prong extension cords if they have them. Sun protections and knee pads are suggested as the volunteers will be working on the ground.

Again, thank you for supporting public art project in the community!
