CDAA Program Manager
Zaccho Dance Theatre

San Francisco, CA

Center for Dance & Aerial Arts Program Manager position at Zaccho Dance Theatre 2015/16

Founded in 1980, the mission of Zaccho Dance Theatre is to educate and inspire through work that reveals the connection between dance and place.  Integrating aerial flight and suspension as ways of expanding dancers’ spatial range, Artistic Director Joanna Haigood explores often overlooked and unseen urban environments as points of departure for movement and narrative. In addition to performing locally, nationally and internationally, Zaccho manages a vibrant training center and studio in the Bayview/Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco where the company has resided since 1989. Zaccho also offers local youth dance and performance training through their award winning Youth Performing Arts Program and Zaccho Youth Company, a pre-professional youth aerial company.
