South Coast Repertory (LORT B & D stages) seeks an energetic, highly organized full-time House Manager to oversee FOH operations for an 13-show season (6-main stage, 4-second stage, 3-TYA), plus readings, conservatory shows, and special events. Responsible for the comfort and safety of patrons, managing concessions and bar, preparing reports, and purchasing and maintaining the inventory and stock of Theatre Shop. Manager will schedule, train, and supervise Front-of-House staff including part-time house managers, bartenders and volunteer ushers. Successful candidate must be able to make quick decisions and handle emergency situations with grace under pressure. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Computer skills including familiarity with Access and Tessitura databases helpful. Competitive salary/benefits.
