Teaching Artist
Blue Line Arts

Blue Line Arts is currently seeking Teaching Artists to facilitate innovative and inspiring arts-based experiences for children and adults beginning September, 2017. An ideal candidate is passionate, organized, flexible, and communicative.


  • Facilitate workshops and day programs with an interdisciplinary and conceptual focus.

  • Create lesson plans where learning is actively built, experimental, collaborative, and reflective.

  • Encourage students to take risks and explore possibilities in creating original artwork in which the concepts or ideas involved take precedence over traditional aesthetic, technical, and material concerns.


  • At least one year experience teaching children and/or adults.

  • Strong art background.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Art degree preferred).

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Interest in being part of an active artist community.
