Blue Line Arts
Blue Line Arts is currently seeking Teaching Artists to facilitate innovative and inspiring arts-based experiences for children and adults beginning September, 2017. An ideal candidate is passionate, organized, flexible, and communicative.
Facilitate workshops and day programs with an interdisciplinary and conceptual focus.
Create lesson plans where learning is actively built, experimental, collaborative, and reflective.
Encourage students to take risks and explore possibilities in creating original artwork in which the concepts or ideas involved take precedence over traditional aesthetic, technical, and material concerns.
At least one year experience teaching children and/or adults.
Strong art background.
Bachelor's Degree (Art degree preferred).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Interest in being part of an active artist community.
