Californians can help "Keep Arts in Schools" at tax time

Great news! Californians will once again have the opportunity to support the California Arts Council and its arts programs for children through their state individual tax returns. On Monday, September 30, Governor Brown signed Senate Bill 571, returning the arts to the voluntary contribution portion of California tax return forms through the new "Keep Arts in Schools Fund."

California Museums Survey

What do you think is the top critical issue facing California museums? The California Association of Museums (CAM) is partnering with regional museum networks and museum professionals across the state to help California museums take a bold step forward. After months of distillation, it's time to vote for the issue that you think is the top priority for the next step toward collaborative learning in the museum field.

Arts Month Programs from the Foundation Center

To mark National Arts and Humanities Month, The Foundation Center is presenting a series of "Funding for Arts Month" programs for artists and arts organizations. A variety of in-person sessions are taking place in the Bay Area and several webinars are available online, covering topics such as fundraising, social media skills, grants, and more.
