An Online Makeover for the Arts Council

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our updated website. Please come visit us at www.arts.ca.gov and look around! Our new site boasts a user friendly design highlighting photos from our amazing grantees, and features easy-to-use social media sharing tools, the first Arts Council blog, expanded resource offerings, and so much more.

We're launching in "beta" mode and will be working out the kinks over the next days and weeks, so if you have feedback for us, please email suggestions and comments to webmaster@arts.ca.gov

NEA Our Town Webinar: Oct 1

The National Endowment for the Arts will host an Our Town grant guidelines workshop webinar focused on Arts Engagement, Cultural Planning, and Design projects. Through Our Town, NEA will provide a limited number of grants for creative placemaking projects that contribute towards the livability of communities and help transform them into lively, beautiful, and resilient places with the arts at their core.  MORE >>

Arts Education Candidate Survey Project

The California Alliance for Arts Education is conducting the Candidate Survey Project, inviting local school board candidates to go on record with their views about the role of arts education in local schools. The results, published a few weeks before the election, will give the public a way to learn more about candidates' views before they vote.   MORE >>
