How to support creative communities affected by wildfires

Artists are often among the first to step up to answer the call for those in need. In the wake of the recent wildfires in Northern California, our State-Local Partners at Creative Sonoma and Arts Council Napa Valley are doing just that. Both have launched disaster recovery funds supporting artists and cultural organizations impacted within their communities. Click the links for each organization to learn more and to donate!

Involvement in the arts means better health, NEA study says

A recent report from the National Endowment for the Arts outlines how the arts can impact the health of older adults. The study found arts engagement to have an overall positive effect on daily physical health, hypertension, and cognitive ability for people over 55, whether creating art or observing it.
