New for grantseekers: Schedule a phone consultation online

Our programs staff is here to help applicants successfully navigate the grant process. They are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and most importantly... accessible to you! In addition to reaching staff by phone or email, interested applicants can now schedule a 15 minute phone consultation via our website. Consultations can be scheduled via the link under "staff contact" on each of our program webpages. Grantseekers should read the program guidelines in detail prior to a scheduled consultation and come prepared with questions.

NOTICE: Grant guidelines revisions

Revisions to our Artists in Communities, Reentry through the Arts, and Veterans in the Arts grant guidelines were posted online today. Interested applicants from non-arts organizations should take note of the revisions included in the published guidelines on the webpages for these three programs. Contact the listed program specialists with any questions.

New webinar series on How to Do Creative Placemaking

California organizations considering applying for our Creative California Communities (CCC) grant program may be particularly interested in the National Endowment for the Arts new webinar series on How to Do Creative Placemaking. The series begins next week and continues through the spring of 2019, with six webinars offering practical advice to help local practitioners meet the challenges of collaborative creative placemaking work. And speaking of our CCC grants: a video recording of this week's CCC program webinar is now posted on our website.

CAC's grant season is in full swing!

We’re awarding $21.3 million to arts and culture projects supporting access, equity, and inclusion; community vibrancy; and arts learning - $5 million more than in the prior fiscal year. Applications are now available for 14 grant programs - find your fit and apply today!
