Our hearts are with those affected by the recent devastating wildfires. The CAC maintains a webpage dedicated to resources for Californians in the aftermath of natural disasters. Click here for current information. This page is regularly updated as new information becomes available.

CAC's grant season is in full swing!

We’re awarding $21.3 million to arts and culture projects supporting access, equity, and inclusion; community vibrancy; and arts learning - $5 million more than in the prior fiscal year. Applications are now available for 14 grant programs - find your fit and apply today!

Stop by our Programs resources page for archived slides and video from our Grant Programs Overview webinar, plus program-specific webinars for Creative California Communities, Youth Arts Action, JUMP StArts and Reentry Through the Arts, and Veterans in the Arts.

Upcoming deadlines: Org & Prof Development due Dec. 5

The first of the CAC grant deadlines is just around the corner. Applications for the Organizational Development and Professional Development programs are due by December 5. Providing support for capacity building consulting and professional development services, these programs are relevant to the whole arts field. And with simpler applications and no Cultural Data Profile or match requirement, both are a great entry point for joining the CAC grantee family. Click the individual links for application and eligibility details.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate expertise in strategic planning; communications; research and planning; outreach and engagement; and will have experience working with the culture and nonprofit fields, and in areas of racial and economic equity or cultural humility/competency and diversity. The deadline for submissions is November 30. Details here.
