CA Poetry Out Loud State Finals coming soon

Mark your calendar: The California Poetry Out Loud State Finals are coming to Sacramento on March 10 & 11. The two-day event will feature 55 high-school poetry champions—winners in their respective county competitions taking place now throughout California—vying for the state title and a chance to compete at the National Finals in Washington, D.C. An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, Poetry Out Loud encourages high school students to learn about poetry through memorization, performance, and competition.
