CA Poetry Out Loud State Finals March 10 & 11

The California Poetry Out Loud State Finals are almost here! The two-day event takes place in Sacramento on March 10 & 11, featuring 52 high-school poetry county champions vying for the state title and a chance to compete at the National Finals in Washington, D.C. An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, Poetry Out Loud encourages high school students to learn about poetry through memorization, performance, and competition. Become an Arts in Corrections coordinating organization

The California Arts Council is looking to increase the variety and number of arts workshop offerings for the state's Arts in Corrections program, and we want YOU to become our newest coordinating organization! Find out how with our new tutorial video and simplified proposal process. Submissions are due on or before April 8. 

California Arts & Accessibility Grant Funding Now Available

Arts and Accessibility is a statewide program administered in partnership with the National Arts and Disability Center at UCLA that offers support to enhance opportunities for participation in the arts by people with disabilities. Applications are available on a rolling basis until funds are used.  Click here to learn more about this funding opportunity.
