Grant season is here

Arts grant season is officially open! Fifteen programs are now accepting applications, with nearly $35 million to be awarded - the most in our agency's history. Find out which opportunities are right for your organization.

Community grant workshops continue through September

California Arts Council staff continue hosting free community workshops throughout September to guide organizations through the grant application process for state arts funding. Attendees receive an overview of the CAC's unique grant opportunities for 2019-20, with deadlines coming this fall, as well as tips and insights into the grant process and best practices for putting together a successful application. Five dates and locations remain - click the links below to register for a workshop in your area:

September 23, 5-7 p.m. - Salinas

September 24, 5-7 p.m. - San Mateo

September 25, 6-8 p.m. - Los Angeles

September 25, 6-8 p.m. - Santa Ana

September 26, 4:30-6:30 p.m. - Calexico

Open call for grant review panelists - apply by Nov. 21

Grant review panelist applications are open now! The CAC is committed to widening participation within our panel pool to ensure the integrity of the grant review process and incorporate all of California's diversity into sound decision-making for the field. The deadline to join the pool and be considered for panel selection during the spring 2020 grant panel season is November 21.
