The first of the CAC grant deadlines is just around the corner. Applications for the Professional Development and State-Local Partner programs are due October 25. Click the individual links for application and eligibility details.

California Arts Council staff will host free online webinars next week to guide organizations through the grant application process for specific funding opportunity categories. Click the links below to register:

October 8, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Arts for Youth Grants

October 9, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Grants for Arts and Justice

October 10, 11 - 11:30 a.m. - Cultural Pathways

October 11, 11 - 11:30 a.m. - Organizational Development/Professional Development

Open call for grant review panelists - apply by Nov. 21

Grant review panelist applications are open now! The CAC is committed to widening participation within our panel pool to ensure the integrity of the grant review process and incorporate all of California's diversity into sound decision-making for the field. The deadline to join the pool and be considered for panel selection during the spring 2020 grant panel season is November 21. Tax extension filers: Keep Arts in Schools on your CA return

Twelve days left for late tax filers! Did you request a tax extension? Be a champion for arts education when filing by making a contribution to the Keep Arts in Schools Fund before October 15. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible contribution is applied to arts education programming supported by the California Arts Council. Smart needs art - get the details on how to donate.
