Register Now! Creative CA Communities Webinar Next Week

Join us for a free webinar on Thursday, January 19th from 11:00 AM - noon for an overview of our largest grant program, Creative California Communities (CCC). CCC grants support collaborative projects that harness arts and culture as a creative placemaking strategy.

Three years ago, we launched CCC, our pilot creative placemaking grant program. What began as a one-year experiment has now become one of our most competitive grant programs. As a result of overwhelming demand, our Council increased its investment in the CCC program to $3.4 million and expects to fund 30 to 40 projects in 2017. We've also made some important changes to the program in an effort to foster equitable access for organizations and creative placemaking projects of all sizes, and we're accepting applications now.

During the webinar, programs staff will review the goals of the program, the project requirements and the application process, as well as highlight some of the changes to the program guidelines. Staff will provide some tips for grant writing success and will answer questions from the public. Click here to register now!
