Beginning Monday, November 10 -- a streamlined CDP Data Profile!
The Cultural Data Project is pleased to announce the introduction of CDP Data Profile Filters! Those of you who create a new Data Profile on or after Monday, November 10, will enjoy a streamlined data entry experience, designed to make the Data Profile shorter, especially for small and less complex organizations. Most participating organizations should see dramatic results:
- A majority of you will be required to answer one-third fewer questions.
- Many will see the number of questions reduced by half!
How will the Profile Filters work?
Answer a brief series of screening questions and a customized CDP Data Profile will be created for your organization. You will see only what you need to complete based on your organization's level of financial complexity. But don't worry-if you decide later that you need to complete a hidden section, you can easily turn it back on.
What if I have questions about completing the Profile?
Good news! We've enhanced our support resources, too. Our upgraded CDP Support Center will feature a new online Knowledgebase that puts answers to your questions at your fingertips. You'll find information on financial reporting terms, instructions for completing the Data Profile, comparisons to IRS Form 990 content, and an explanation of the new Profile Filters. Of course, you can still call, email, or chat online with our Support Center team members who will be happy to guide you to a solution.

What if I have already started this year's Data Profile?
These filters will only apply to new Data Profiles created on or after November 10, 2014. If you have already started entering data into your Data Profile, you should continue completing it.
