Imagine being blind or visually impaired. How would you see art? How would you detect the world around you to put that image in your head? Blind and low vision people love art, and many are incredibly talented. We are putting on an exhibit for low vision and blind artists to showcase their creative spirit. This exhibit is in coordination with the California Council of the Blind Conference that will be held at the Sacramento Marriot Rancho Cordova March 22-25th 2018, with a fundraising event, “Dinner in the Dark” on March 22nd. For more information on the dinner and convention please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a sighted artist that has art which can be handled and looked at through touch we would love to have you apply to this exhibit also. The MACC is a free gallery for the community, bringing art and culture to Rancho Cordova.
If you have questions concerning the Art Exhibit or the gallery please contact Cheryl Gleason, Event Coordinator of the MACC at email@example.com or Call 916-273-5712.
