Chahar-Shanbeh Souri literally means "Eve of Wednesday" because the festival is always held on the last Wednesday of winter. At the festival, savor delicious Persian cuisine and enjoy watching beautiful dancers from the Niosha Dance Academy. The fire festival, the jumping over a bonfire, is a ritual passed down since ancient Zoroastrian times.
Festival has a children/youth component.
